Tour Itinerary:
Day 1 : Marrakech – High Atlas – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades
Departure in the morning from Marrakech to Ouarzazate crossing the High Atlas and the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260 m).
Arrival at the kasbah of Telouet (ancestral home of Pasha Glaoui), visit the Kasbah, Continuation for the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou through the valley of Ounila.
Arrival at the end of the morning at the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (one of the most beautiful kasbahs of southern Morocco.) It benefited, financially, several film shoots important, including:
- Lawrence of Arabia.
- Gladiator.
- Jesus from Nazareth…
And is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, lunch on site, in the afternoon, visit the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
After lunch leave for the Dades Gorge and Todra Gorge through the oasis of Skoura (visit of the Kasbah of Amridil).
Continue to the village of Kelaa M’Gouna and take the track through the valley of roses and the road of a thousand kasbahs, walk in the valley of Boumalne Dades; dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 : Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Sahara Desert – Camel Ride
After breakfast, walk in the Todra Gorge and in the Tinghir palm grove, departure for the Merzouga dunes through the Ziz valley and the Tafilalet valley, lunch in Erfoud.
In the afternoon, continuation by the track until the dunes of Merzouga where you will spend the night in hotel or Riad at the foot of the sand dunes.
Day 3 : Exploring Merzouga Wonders And Camel Ride
After the sunrise and breakfast, a day camel trek in the desert of Merzouga to discover different landscapes (erg, oasis …).
After breakfast we will drive to explore the Merzouga wonders, we will start from the village of Khamlia the black people and slaves originally from Sudan and Mali enjoy their spiritual music of Gnaoua.
And then, continue through the track of Paris Dakar to visit the mines of Mifiss and meet a nomad berber family to discover their daily life, we will lunch in the desert.
In the afternoon, camel ride in the dunes of Merzouga enjoying a beautiful sunset at the top of Erg Chebbi (250 m), and continue to reach the desert camp where you spend the night under nomadic tents, dinner and overnight at the bivouac
Day 4 : Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Ifran – Fez
After the sunrise, return by camel to reach the hostel in Merzouga to have breakfast and a shower and departure from Merzouga to Fez through Rissani, Erfoud, the Ziz valley where you can see different fortified villages whose architecture recalls that of the pre-Saharan oases, the city of Errachidia, Midelt and the Middle Atlas.
Arrival at the end of the morning in Azrou (city located at 1250 m altitude, famous for its cedars, apple trees, cedar Gouraud and monkeys), lunch on site.
In the afternoon, continue to Fez via the city of Ifrane (located at 1664 m altitude, famous for its alpine architecture, ski slopes and forests).
